There should be a system where foods which are going to be thrown away by supermarkets or restaurants simply because it doesn't look nice anymore but can still be eaten, not to be thrown away. Instead, they should either be sold at cheaper prices or donated to people who are in need of such food. Food wastage should not be encouraged but rather, it should become a punishable offence if one does not abide by the above alternatives.
