All appointees on Government Boards and Committees should be qualified in an area related to the Board / Committee's purview and should have relevant experience, at management level, in the field. In addition, no Government authority / entity Chairperson or Executive Chairperson should be appointed without relevant qualifications, ideally at or above Masters level, related to the area in which s/he will be working.
There is no space for amateurs in leadership positions. That includes the ministers!
